The Avoca Group is currently seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our Client Development team. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities by researching potential accounts and executing outreach campaigns via social media, email, and phone calling. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player who is able to learn quickly in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Source and route new sales opportunities through inside sales channels including outbound email campaigns, social media, and phone calling
  • Generate and manage pipeline of leads for Client Development team to pursue
  • Develop segment-specific content for marketing materials used in inside sales activities (e.g. email campaigns, social campaigns, etc.)
  • Conduct market opportunity analysis on the life sciences industry, including gathering primary and secondary information, analyzing data, and offering recommendations
  • Build, maintain, and leverage data analytics using the company CRM and associated platforms
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding account requirements
  • Assist with preparing presentations and materials for discussions with prospective clients
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives with other teams in the organization
  • Other tasks as assigned

Preferred qualifications

  • A minimum of a BA/BS
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience (including internships)
  • Proficiency with CRM software a plus
  • Proficiency with email marketing software a plus
