Project Manager, Client Delivery

The Diligent Qualification Platform is a cloud-based technology and suite of services that enable Sponsors and CROs to rapidly identify, evaluate, and select clinical service providers.

 

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Client Delivery team. Our Client Delivery team members are experienced industry professionals who are knowledgeable about vendor oversight and familiar with the vendor qualification process in the Life Sciences. They have an entrepreneurial spirit and are enthusiastic about new projects. Our Client Delivery team is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Diligent’s solutions to our clients. The Client Delivery Manager will work closely with internal teams while providing excellent customer service and support to clients.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Partner closely with the Head of Services to ensure client satisfaction by having a comprehensive understanding of the vendor qualification needs that are met through the Diligent platform
• Project manage and provide consulting on client projects
• Coordinate and lead client meetings, provide reporting, and work closely with colleagues to address client contract needs professionally and in a timely manner
• Ensure the on-time and high-quality delivery of Diligent services working with Diligent resources; track milestones and manage communication with clients
• Review project deliverables, including vendor qualification assessment reports, to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify risks and remove obstacles that could hinder reaching project goals, and escalate these issues as appropriate
• Partner with business development colleagues to meet with prospective clients and demonstrate Diligent’s ability to offer solutions to clients’ needs

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be self-driven with a sense of urgency, a solution- oriented mindset, and enthusiasm for customer service. He or she should be prepared to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual company environment. The ability to manage client expectations and look at issues through a relationship management lens is preferred. The candidate must be adept at coordinating internal teams to meet client needs, possessing extremely strong communication skills and the capacity to navigate complex organization structures. In addition, he or she should have a strong understanding of clinical research, preferably with expertise in the vendor qualification and selection process.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a client-facing role in CRO/Pharmaceutical company or as a consultant in the industry
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A proven track record of successfully adding value to client teams and demonstrating excellent decision making/problem solving skills
• The ability to embrace teamwork, establishing effective working relationships and trust with customers and stakeholders (internal and external)
• A minimum of a BA/BS in a scientific or business discipline
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in project management in the Life Sciences
